Hi, I'm Richard Fabre, Founder and Director of FabreLEC! I'm passionate about leading the best Electrical business in Melbourne! In my spare time I love to spend time outdoors with my 2 kids in the local area. I’m also a keen amateur musician and love to wind down with an acoustic guitar or release some energy on the drums!
At the heart of our business is a strong focus on customer service. We are dedicated to building long-lasting relationships with our customers and we’re always going above and beyond to exceed their expectations.

Richard Fabre
DIRECTOR & OPERATIONS MANAGER
I founded FabreLEC with the drive for creating a trade business with a difference. I wanted to build an organisation that excels at what we do & is a great place to work! Along my journey within the industry, I’ve absorbed as much knowledge as possible, both in the inner workings of the trade & in the operations of a successful business. I learn and grow everyday that I work with this great team & all our amazing clients!
Matt Dooley

​Matt has been an invaluable member of our team, with over 20 years experience in the trade, He is our most experienced electrician. He has a strong commitment to customer service &takes the challenges of the job in his stride. No matter the situation Matt always maintains a positive attitude. Matt is a buddhist which I’m sure is a factor in his ability to stay cool calm and collected under pressure!
Brett Armstrong
LEADING HAND ELECTRICIAN/ PROJECT MANAGER
What a weapon of a tradesman! Brett’s skill, dedication & work ethic can’t be beat. Where others might complain and struggle, Brett puts his head down and gets the job done, without wavering or compromising on safety or workmanship. Brett is managing most of our major projects in the business right now, each running smoother than the next due to his tenacity & solid processes. He spends most of his free time with his 4 kids at
various sporting events! It’s a shame he’s a Collingwood supporter...
Emily Young
SOCIAL MEDIA
Em runs her own successful photography business and works part time managing our social media & marketing. She’s an an absolute professional & her presence lifts the whole team up.Her eye for detail & style is a huge asset to us as a team. She also happens to be the director’s wife.
Aidan McNamara
3RD YEAR APPRENTICE
Aidan has been with us since the beginning! When the vision started to form & Richard wanted to move away from being a sole trader, Aidan came on board. Although his job title says apprentice, he is one of our most valued team members. Aidan’s ability to pick out quality & detect even the most minor imperfection forces us all to be better. He’ll be a leader within the business within a short time.
Courtney Howard
ADMIN ISTRATION & OFFICE MASTER
Court is our newest team member, but she immediately made her mark on our organisation. Her friendly nature puts the team & our clients at ease. She’s no stranger to the electrical industry having worked for a large electrical contractor in the past and she is already developing smooth work flows & office procedures. Courtney recently moved up to the sunny Northern NSW coast so she works entirely remotely, but we still claim her as a Melbournian at heart.
